There are 136 released champions as of December 2016 with the latest being Camille, the shadow steel. Riot Games Incorporation designs new champions for the League of Legends and each champion is individually designed to have unique abilities and traits. Some champions have magic or supernatural vision, others use deadly and cunning weapons while others have beastly strength and power.
